LOA, Vision Boards + Goal Mapping

Hey Soul Fam!

This week during Thankful Thursday we discussed the Law of Attraction, vision boards, and goal planning. For those of you who like to actually keep a planner, then I highly suggest you invest in one for the new year. Those of you who like to get in depth with your planning, I suggest you get a Law of Attraction Planner. They have an entire section of the beginner of their planners that show you how to goal plan and is also loaded with awesome information. We discussed the law of attraction a few weeks ago when we spoke about the Universal Laws. If you missed that blog, you should definitely check it out and acclimate yourself with the concepts. You can read that blog here:

We need to address one thing about organization, you can’t do that shit in your mind! You have to take the time out to write things out. So, we’re going to be going over the importance of keeping a planner or journal. Why is it important? Because it’s a known fact that it helps us become more motivated while reducing distractions, and keeping our goals remembered! Don’t believe me? There’s actually science that supports this shit. Here’s a few articles that back these findings and even one where this method can be very effective in the business world:

That being said, you can choose to go the planner route, or you can choose to go with a spiral notebook or a composition book. Whatever you choose to use doesn’t matter as much as actually using it does. Whatever you choose, just make sure you’re actually using it and writing in it on a daily basis! Those of you who aren’t yet used to this, choose a day of the week to “check-in” with yourself and your goals. This day could even be the same day you do your self-care on!

If you haven’t chosen to get a law of attraction planner, then you’ll definitely need the following sections so you can goal plan! You can also check out their website for worksheets and explanations on how to properly goal map! The links to their site is:

There are 8 steps according to the Law of Attraction planner: 1- Awareness and Self Discovery which is where you find your life’s purpose, 2- Make your Mission and Vision Statement, 3- Set Big Goals which is where you get your mind map together, set your priorities, and learn to create harmony, 4- Create your Vision Board and Life Statement, 5- Make a Clear Strategy where you let go of your old self, program your mind for success, find mentors, and create a positive environment, 6- Take Action: Monthly and Weekly Action Plans where you learn to have daily goals and priorities, track daily gratitude and good habits, visualizations, reflections, and rewards while writing and decluttering your mind to find inner peace, 7- Feel Good and Manifest FAST: finding balance and time to relax and getting creative as you follow your intuition, 8- Reflect and Celebrate! We’re going to go over these things here!

Step 1: Self-Awareness + Self Discovery:

Reflect on the 11 most important parts of your life. Answer the ‘Most Important Life Questions” and find your true purpose in life. Use the “Questions to Empower your Day” daily in the morning to stay on your path, and in the evening to reflect, learn, improve, celebrate and focus on what is most important in your life.

To do this exercise, use a timer and give yourself 90 seconds for each question.

  1. What would I want to experience in life if time and money were not an issue?
  2. How do I want to grow?
  3. What do I want to contribute to this world?
  4. Who am I? Why am I here?
  5. Where am I going? How do I want to be remembered when I am gone?
  6. If I achieved all of my life’s goals, how would I feel? How can I feel that along the way?
  7. What is most important in my life? What do I value the most? What am I most passionate about?
  8. What brings me the most joy and sense of peace in my life?
  9. What does a successful life look like for me?
  10. What do others most admire in me? What unique gifts do I want to share with the world? What are my top values? If you don’t know, ask five people who know you well.
  11. What are my top 10 achievements in life?

Step 2: Make Your Vision + Mission Statements:

Define + Craft your Vision Statement:

Step 1: After answering questions 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, and 9, define and craft your life vision in a paragraph or two. Your vision defines what you love to do, be, give, create, feel or share.

Step 2: Is my vision an emotionally charged? Does it compel me to take action?

Step 3: Is my vision specific? Is it measurable?

Create something that inspires you, and don’t try to make it perfect. This isn’t about perfection or what is right or wrong. There is no right or wrong way to describe your ultimate vision.

Define + Craft your Mission Statement:

A mission statement defines your essence and the mark that you’d like to leave on the world. The right mission statement for you will inspire you to jump out of bed with passion to live your purpose. To do this, identify your past successes (check question 11). Then identify your core values (questions 7, 8, and 10). Next identify what you’d like to contribute (question 3). Last, identify your goals (questions 1, 2, and 9). Based on these steps and a better understanding of yourself, begin writing your personal mission statement in your planner!

Step 3: Setting BIG Goals:

  1. Write down 50 goals for your life.
  2. Write down when you want to achieve your goals.
  3. Create a mind map of all your goals, including all areas of life.
  4. Choose your 5 most important goals.
  5. Once you set your goal take immediate action on them the same day.

Step 4: Life Statement + Vision Boards:

To Create your Life Statement:
1. Make a clear story of your desired life with full details using all senses.
2. Read this statement out loud twice a day, once in the morning after you awake, and again at night before you go to sleep.
3. Visualize and see it with your own eyes.
4. You can also record this statement with your favorite music and listen to it twice a day.

How to Create A Vision Board:
A vision board is a tool used to help clarify, concentrate, and maintain focus on specific life goals. Literally, a vision board is any sort of board on which you display a collection of images that represent whatever you want to be, do, or have in your life. Choose only words and images that inspire you and make you feel good. Keep it neat and be selective about what you place on your vision board as you want to watch it every day.

  • You can put images of both short term and long term goals.
  • Collect images according to your goals.
  • Make the images of the top 5 goals you selected bigger.
  • Have short term and long term goals on your vision board.
  • Make sure you are excited about the images you are looking at.
  • Add inspirational words on your vision board.
  • Have pictures of health goals/ relationships goals/ work & business goals/ fun &recreation goals/
  • money goals/ personal growth goals/ spiritual goals.
  • Before you visualize everyday always make sure your emotional vibration is within hope and bliss. If not take action to feel good first.
  • Look at your vision board every day. It is best to do this first thing in the morning and at night before bedtime. Visualize everything on your board as a reality and be grateful for it. Make sure you have a positive feeling of gratitude when you visualize.
  • See everything happening from your own eyes and use all of your senses: Appeal to the sense of sight, the sense of touch, the sense of taste, the sense of hearing, the sense of smell, because the five senses all have their inner counterparts.

Step 5: Make a Clear Success Strategy:

  1. Write down how you will reward yourself if you achieve your goals.
  2. Discover your fears and Mental blocks
  3. Create positive affirmations to reprogram your mind for success.

At lower levels, just make the decision to feel good first. This way you will avoid most of the trouble in your life and live more in love, joy & bliss.
    Use the emotional vibration guide:
